Breuer-Weil is exhibiting a series of drawings as well as five paintings that utilise the acts of reading and writing, alongside images of books as recurring themes,  always inviting the audience to question, communicate, interpret and reflect upon the power of the book.

Breuer Weil says “A book is a symbol of what it means to be human. I use books in my drawings to express the whole range of human emotions and thoughts. Both books and people are censored, locked away, repressed and considered dangerous. Similarly writing like Art, is an explosive act; one sentence can cause an earthquake which reverberates throughout time.”
